We're fundraising for Sinai Health
We are playing for Mount Sinai Hospital, one of Canada’s leading health institutions and a place that is recognized around the world for its excellence in patient care, research, and education. Sinai is home to renowned specialists whose work is changing the future for patients and families facing complex health challenges.
Within Sinai, we are supporting the Centre for Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD). Canada has one of the highest rates of IBD in the world, and those rates continue to rise. Sinai’s Centre for IBD is the largest program in the country, treating more than 7,500 patients each year. Its interdisciplinary team of gastroenterologists and colorectal surgeons are at the forefront of cutting-edge medical management and surgical treatment of IBD and other GI diseases.
For our family, this cause is deeply personal. Three generations have lived with IBD, and we have all felt its impacts. We also know there is a hereditary component, which makes supporting Sinai’s research even more important as we think about future generations.
