We're fundraising for Sinai Health
We're playing for the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) at Mount Sinai Hospital, a place that has forever changed our lives. When Jordan was born, he spent the first weeks of his life in the NICU, where the incredible team gave him the care and strength he needed to thrive.
The experience left a permanent mark on our hearts, and we’re honoured to give back through Sinai Showdown. Your support will help provide advanced equipment, family support, and critical care for the tiniest patients and their families.
As a regional referral centre for high-risk pregnancies, Mount Sinai’s NICU admits approximately 1,200 babies each year. The hospital is physically connected to The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) and serves as the regional delivery centre for all infants requiring surgical and cardiac care.
A current priority for the NICU is funding neonatology fellowships. Fully affiliated with the University of Toronto, the NICU plays an essential role in educating the next generation of neonatal specialists.
